During a scheduled office consultation a patient participates in a series of questions, review of history, physical examination, and office testing. A number of possible problems may be assessed and a more comprehensive plan of management formulated.
This initial evaluation will typically take 45 to 90 minutes upon arrival. Comprehensive questionnaires are completed if needed and necessary testing followed by physician interview and examination. Download, print, and bring to your appointment one of the relevant questionnaires on the left side of this page.
Subsequent studies outside the office such as complete pulmonary function, x-ray studies or procedures such as bronchoscopy may be planned.
Future appointments are often scheduled prior to departure. |
